What is the PTA?

PTA is the largest nonprofit volunteer advocacy organization in the country.

The MEMS PTA and Board is a 100% volunteer organization composed of MEMS parents, teachers and administrators just like you.

We know that you want the best for your children and being a PTA member can help you achieve that! Children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students, and the community work together.

PTA brings these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children. Our PTA provides information and resources that strengthen these relationships.

If you are a PTA member...

Children

You're supporting children and youth throughout the nation.

Participate

You may participate in ALL PTA meetings.

Serve

You are eligible for office in your PTA.

Vote

You can vote at local, state, and national PTA meetings.

National

You are a member of the National PTA.

Voice

You have a unified voice to influence legislation that affects children.
